Football South Australia is thrilled to announce the relaunch of its flagship school holiday football program under a vibrant new brand: Kickstart. Designed as an entry-level football experience for children new to the game, Kickstart will roll out across the state during school holidays and at selected times throughout the year, offering a consistent, fun, and engaging introduction to football.
Kickstart is tailored for young children, focusing on basic skill development, game awareness, and creating a positive first experience in football. The program’s vibrant identity reflects its emphasis on fun, inclusion, and community connection, with a goal of inspiring a lifelong love of the game.
Jake Brindley, Head of Game Development at Football SA, said the rebrand was the result of extensive consultation and review:
