In State League Two, it’s still all to play for. Eastern United, Cobras and Modbury Vista occupy the top three and are all in contention for automatic promotion.

With that in mind, it doesn’t get much bigger than Cobras versus Vista. Both sides will understand that it is out of their hands if Eastern win, as they are currently sitting one point ahead. Either way, there is at the bare minimum second place on the line.
Mt Barker have had a year to forget registering just one point. The Crusaders will be looking to put this season behind them. Gawler also have had a year to forget, as they have slowly given up ground from top-spot, and now cling onto sixth by a point.
Eagles will have to lay it all on the line, as a finals berth is at risk if Cove get up. Mt Barker will be playing for pride and will be hoping to improve on Round 4’s 1-5 showing the last time these two met.

Salisbury and Northern Demons have also had underachieving seasons. This weekend, neither team can make finals so they will be playing to avoid 11th on the table.
Salisbury sit on 19 points and Demons on 17 respectively, the reverse fixture saw Demons win 2-1 at home.
Pirates and Noarlunga have both had their ups and downs this year. Both would be happy with their recent performances.
Pirates sit in fourth no matter what this weekend, however, Noarlunga could do snatch sixth spot with a win, provided results go their way.

Only three points separate 5th and 8th, so if at least two out of Uni, Gawler and Cove fail to win; Noarlunga could be on.
With the aforementioned tightness between 5th and 8th, Adelaide Uni versus Cove is another massive game.
Uni sit in 5th and Cove in 7th, however, Cove have the edge on goal difference; rendering a Victory on Saturday enough to leapfrog Uni and make the six. Depending on the results, both teams could finish as high as 5th.
The last time these two met it was Uni who came out on top, getting a crucial 1-0 away win.

Last but certainly not least are league leaders Eastern United. They come up against Pontian, who would need a miracle to make the six; but it is indeed possible.
Eastern are one win away from automatic promotion, and their 3-1 win in the reverse fixture will be very encouraging.
Pontian have done well in their first year in the federation, but would need a miraculous string of results to get through; Gawler, Cove and Noarlunga would all have to lose OR Gawler would have to draw, and Pontian would have to beat Eastern by two goals at the very least.
Strap yourselves in for a dramatic final day.
