On Monday 19th December 2022 Football SA held their annual State Futsal Championships at St Clair Recreation Centre.
The day saw 37 teams gather throughout St Clair Recreation Centre, as another unforgettable day full of futsal was held. Spectators were able to witness 93 games across 6 pitches throughout the day.
The 2022 State Futsal Championships demonstrated how the level of futsal in South Australia continues to improve, with many memorable moments being created for all involved at this year's Championships.
Football SA Junior Competition & Futsal Coordinator, Anthony Lanzoni stated:
The 2022 State Futsal Championship was a great success with 37 teams competing in 93 games across the day. The Championship saw some great Futsal played amongst all age groups, from U8 right through to Open Men and Women. With Football South Australia attending Futsal Nationals in early January after two years of no tournaments, it was a fantastic opportunity for our State Futsal squads to play in the lead-up to the tournament.
After multiple growling Grand Finals, Football SA was pleased to crown seven new champions at the completion of the day.
