On Friday 21 February, Football South Australia held their annual Season Launch at the iconic home of Cooper's Brewery at the recently completed visitor centre.
Over 100 guests from senior clubs and corporate partners attended to welcome in the beginning of the 2025 RAA National Premier League’s and Apex Steel WNPL and State League season’s.
The Football SA CEO, Michael Carter hosted the afternoon and Director and 6 generation member of the Coopers Family, Andrew Cooper officially welcomed guests and the newly appointed Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing, Hon Emily Bourke, introduced herself to the Football Family. The event was officially closed by President Dr Jane Rathjen.
Host of The World Game show on 5AA, Adelaide United’s Stefan Mauk, conducted interviews and gained insights on the upcoming RAA NPL & Apex Steel WNPL seasons with promoted Playford Patriots Head Coach Ben Moore, and newly appointed Flinders United Head Coach Tom Monsigneur.
