St Clair came alive with the fast pace and energy of futsal as the State Futsal Championships delivered a huge day of junior competition and development.

With 41 teams taking part, the Championships featured 91 fixtures across six pitches, keeping the action rolling from the first whistle to the final match.
Football SA Futsal Lead, Danny Beauchamp, reflected on the Championships,
The State Futsal Championships at St Clair was a fantastic chance for the South Australian futsal community to come together and experience high-quality competition. It also provided invaluable match practice for our State Team players as they prepare for the National Championships on the Gold Coast in January.

Importantly, the event also supported the growth of match officials, with two appointed match officials for every fixture to ensure games were officiated to a high standard and to provide consistent learning opportunities throughout the day.
Sean Grimmond, Football SA Lead Futsal Referee Coach, highlighted the value of championships like this:
The State Futsal Championships provides a vital development opportunity for emerging futsal match officials, giving them the chance to work with experienced referees in high quality matches and gain valuable experience.
