The countdown is on! South Australian football fans can start marking their calendars as the 2026 season fixtures are officially live. From the RAA NPLSA to the APEX Steel WNPL and the State Leagues, the stage is set for another thrilling year of local football. With new teams entering the mix and old rivalries reigniting, expect drama, passion, and plenty of goals across every division.
RAA NPL
The 2026 fixtures are live, with only 71 days until kick-off for the RAA NPLSA season and 78 days until the APEX Steel WNPL.
Round 1 opens with the champions Croydon taking on Para Hills Knights in a stand-alone Friday night clash on 27 February.
The rest of Round 1 delivers an action-packed Saturday, featuring the return of the Adelaide Derby as rivals Adelaide City face West Adelaide under the lights at Adelaide City Park.
To close out the round, FK Beograd meets newly promoted Sturt Lions, who will be eager to impress on their return to top-flight football.

APEX STEEL WNPL
The APEX Steel WNPL season kicks off on Friday, 6 March, with an exciting opening weekend. Modbury Vista takes on Football SA at 6:15 pm to start the round with a bang.
Later that night, Adelaide Uni faces Flinders United at 8:15 pm at ServiceFM Stadium. Round 1 also features a blockbuster clash as West Adelaide hosts Adelaide Comets in a late Friday showdown between the premiers and champions.
On Saturday, 7 March, the reunified MetroStars battle Salisbury Inter in a highly anticipated afternoon clash.

HPG HOMES STATE LEAGUE 1
The HPG Homes State League 1 begins on Saturday, 28 February, promising plenty of entertainment. The first kick-off at 3:00 pm sees newly promoted Adelaide Atletico host Adelaide Cobras, while Eastern United takes on South Adelaide. Both promoted sides will be eager to make their mark in SL1.
Elsewhere, Modbury Jets welcome Adelaide Croatia Raiders as the two relegated clubs begin their fight to return to the top flight.
The round concludes on Monday, 2 March, with Adelaide Blue Eagles clashing with Cove FC in a stand-alone fixture.

HPG HOMES STATE LEAGUE 2 NORTH
The State League excitement continues on Friday, 13 March, as the HPG Homes State League 2 North welcomes three new clubs. Angle Vale travels to face Salisbury Inter, Elizabeth Downs hosts Gawler Eagles, and Barossa United makes the trip to take on Pontian Eagles. Expect plenty of passion and drama in SL2N this season.

HPG HOMES STATE LEAGUE 2 SOUTH
Heading south, the HPG Homes State League 2 South promises just as much entertainment. Newcomers Plympton Bulldogs face Adelaide University on Friday, 13 March, at 8:00 pm.
On Saturday, 14 March, Ghan United, recently moved from the north division, hosts a formidable Vipers FC at 6:00 pm. The round wraps up with Adelaide Hills Hawks traveling to face Adelaide Titans at West Beach Parks Football Centre, also at 6:00 pm.

APEX STEEL WOMENS STATE LEAGUE
The Apex Steel Women’s State League returns on Friday, 27 February, with Adelaide Jaguars hosting Modbury Jets at 8:15 pm.
Saturday features two exciting fixtures: South Adelaide vs Cove FC, and Adelaide City vs Sturt Lions.
The opening round concludes on Sunday, 1 March, as Elizabeth Grove clashes with Western Strikers at Dauntsey Reserve at 3:00 pm.
