ServiceFM Stadium came alive as the Empowering African Youth Football Program hosted its much-anticipated Carnival Day. A day filled with energy, excitement, and countless smiles from players, families, and community members.
The stadium was full of life, with music playing throughout the day and soccer matches running back-to-back. The atmosphere stayed lively as everyone came together to celebrate the program and its participants.

Career Pathways Zone
One of the standout features of the day was the Career Pathways Zone.
Proudly supported partners of the African Youth Football Program Career stalls included:

- Career Employment Group

These organisations spent the day engaging with participants, answering questions, and showcasing real pathways into employment and education.

All-Star Match
A major highlight of the carnival was the All-Star Match, featuring a team made up of the program’s most academically committed and highly skilled boys and girls. These standout participants were selected not only for their football ability, but for their leadership, attitude, and personal development throughout the year.
They faced off against a combined Football SA / SAPOL All-Star Team, delivering contest that had the crowd cheering from start to finish. The match perfectly captured what the program is all about, talent, respect, teamwork, and opportunity.
