Football South Australia is pleased to announce the inclusion of Angle Vale Soccer Club in 2026 following the submission of their comprehensive expression of interest to join the expanded league competition.
A thorough analysis was conducted of Angle Vale SC’s application, highlighting the club’s impressive growth in both participation and performance. This inclusion is a testament to the hard work and commitment of the club’s players, coaching staff, and volunteers, all of whom have contributed to the club’s success and ongoing development.
The State League 2 competition has welcomed Adelaide Atletico SC, Adelaide Titans FC, Elizabeth Grove SC, Ghan Football Club and Salisbury Inter SC. Angle Vale SC, alongside Barossa United and Plympton Bulldogs will join the competition in 2026.
Football SA remains committed to the strategic growth of the State League 2 competition, with a clear vision to expand into 12-team North and 12-team South conferences. This expansion aligns with Football SA’s broader goal of providing more competitive opportunities and pathways for clubs across the state, as well as enhancing the overall standard of football in South Australia.

Over the past five years, the club has experienced incredible growth, thanks to the dedication and hard work of the previous committee. The new committee, along with myself, will continue that effort, striving to propel the Foxes through the divisions in the state’s top competitions.
Since its foundation, the Angle Vale Soccer Club has always been committed to grassroots development. However, we’ve lacked a clear pathway to help players progress to higher levels. This transition into Football South Australia will provide a full development pathway—from our club's program to Social Juniors, the YCC competition, and all the way through to our State League Seniors.
This will offer our community one club to support football talent at every stage in Angle Vale. With the rapid expansion of Angle Vale over the last five years, we now have the opportunity to offer the highest level of competition to our players, helping us expand the Foxes brand and ultimately aim for the NPL to compete at the highest level.
