Football South Australia is calling for nominations from players across the state to trial for its 2026 State Futsal Teams, set to compete at the National Futsal Championships on the Gold Coast from 13–17 January 2026.
The trials will take place at Roma Mitchell Secondary School Gymnasium (Briens Rd, Gepps Cross SA 5094) across two dates in October, with sessions available for boys and girls in multiple age groups.

Wednesday, 8 October
Boys
- 9:00am – 10:15am: U12 Boys (2013 born)
- 10:30am – 11:45am: U14 Boys (2011 + 2012 born)
- 12:00pm – 1:15pm: U16 Boys (2009 + 2010 born)
Girls
- 1:30pm – 2:45pm: U17 Girls (2008 + 2009 born)
- 3:00pm – 4:15pm: U15 Girls (2010 + 2011 born)
- 4:30pm – 5:45pm: U13 Girls (2012 born)
Friday, 10 October
Boys
- 9:00am – 10:15am: U12 Boys (2013 born)
- 10:30am – 11:45am: U14 Boys (2011 + 2012 born)
- 12:00pm – 1:15pm: U16 Boys (2009 + 2010 born)

A Proven Pathway to the Elite Game
The National Futsal Championships have long provided a platform for South Australian talent to showcase their skills on the national stage. Former representatives include Yaya Dukuly and Chelsie Dawber, who featured in the SA team at past Futsal Nationals. Both have since gone on to progress into professional football careers.
