Football South Australia would like to offer congratulations to Michele Lastella after he recently completed the AFC/FA 'A' Licence.
Michele is Football South Australia's NTC Women’s Head Coach and has been in the role since 2019.
He began his coaching journey with Football SA in 2011 as a development coach, which saw him take the Assistant Coach role of the NTC Women's Program in 2017, which then lead to becoming head coach two years later.
On the completion of the 'A' Licence, Michele told Football SA:
I am very thankful to Football South Australia for showing their continued support to me and the women’s program. The A-licence provides a solid platform to build upon and challenge your pre-existing ideas of football. No different to most things in life, the process of learning never really ends, it’s a continuous process.
Developing as a coach, developing our next generation of players, developing our program is something I am committed to and I am always looking for ways to improve and evolve.
Michele is also an Assistant for the Adelaide United W-League side, which sees a number of players from the NTC squad transition onto the national stage.
Football SA congratulates Michele and we look forward to seeing him continue his coaching development in the future.
