FOOTBALL SA STATEMENT
SALISBURY INTER AND GHAN UNITED DISCIPLINARY HEARING
6 June 2025
Following the Round 8 Salisbury Inter and Ghan United HPG State League 2 North Senior Game played on Saturday 10 May 2025, Football SA received match official and club incident reports relating to disturbances that had occurred at the conclusion of the match.
Football SA conducted a thorough investigation and referred the matter to the Independent Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, which was held on Wednesday 28 May 2025. Both Clubs and charged spectators presented evidence to the hearing and entered pleas in accordance with the charges laid.
The findings of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee are outlined below:

Football SA strongly condemns the behaviour following this match which has brought the game into disrepute and risked damaging the sport’s public reputation. These penalties send a strong message that such behaviour is unacceptable in any form. We remain committed to upholding the integrity of the game and fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants.
Both clubs have a period of seven (7) days in which to appeal the findings of the Independent Disciplinary and Ethics Committee.
