FOOTBALL SA STATEMENT
SALISBURY INTER AND GHAN UNITED DISCIPLINARY HEARING

Further to the statement Salisbury Inter and Ghan United Disciplinary Hearing issued on 6 June 2025, Football SA advises that neither Club has exercised its right to appeal.

The seven (7) day period to appeal the determination of the independent Disciplinary and Ethics Committee lapsed at 5pm Wednesday, 18 June 2025.

The sanctions handed down to both Salisbury Inter and Ghan United, listed below, by the Independent Disciplinary and Ethics Committee will be enacted with the points deductions applied to the HPG Homes State League 2 North league today.

SALISBURY INTER:

ChargedOffencePenalty
Salisbury Inter
  • Bringing the game into disrepute
  • Participating in a Melee (Grade 1)
  • Failure to provide a safe environment for Participants or to maintain public order at a Match
  • 6 Competition points deducted
  • $2,000 fine ($1,000 suspended)
  • 5 Ground stewards required at all remaining matches of the season.

 

GHAN UNITED:

  • Bringing the game into disrepute
  • Participating in a Melee (Grade 1)
  • Failure to provide a safe environment for Participants or to maintain public order at a Match
  • 6 Competition points deducted
  • $2,000 fine ($1,000 suspended)
  • 5 Ground stewards required at all remaining matches of the season.
