Football South Australia is delighted to announce the details of the highly anticipated annual Coaching Conference for 2023.
We will be delivering a Coaching Conference before and after each season moving forward and our second 2023 Conference will be in November 2023.
The conference will take place on Friday 3 February at ServiceFM Stadium.
Football SA Technical Director, Michael Cooper said:
"The conferences are a great way for me to meet coaches and get a feel for how things are in our football community. We will discuss player and coach development challenges together and identify ways we can all work better together to improve football experiences for all involved. Our 2023 coach development offerings are now on our website, and we will develop more support programs as we build greater awareness and trust with coaches working within our clubs."

Course Description
The purpose of a state conference is to get like-minded coaches together to discuss coach and player development to continue the growth of the game here in South Australia and Nationally.
This event is designed as one of the means for coaches to meet their revalidation requirements to keep their accreditation valid and current.
Coaches that received their coaching accreditation in 2019 are under the new system – in which revalidation is 100 points over a 3 year period – and for those coaches the Conference will equate to 30 points.
Coaches that received their coaching accreditation before 2019 remain under the old system – in which revalidation is 100 points over a 4 year period – and for those coaches the Conference will equate to 50 points.
Once coaches under the old system are revalidated, they will come under the new (3-year) structure.
For ongoing CPD queries please check this website Licence Revalidation | Play Football or contact technical@footballaustralia.com.au
Licences that expired in 2020, 2021 + 2022 have been extended until December 31st, 2023 due to covid.
