The Football South Australia Advisory Group and Zone Council representative elections for 2026 are now open, and we’re on the lookout for a strong and diverse group of people who want to help lead the future of football in South Australia.
We are inviting people who care about the game and want to play a role in shaping how football grows, thrives, and evolves across our state. If you are someone who enjoys contributing to a better environment for our football community and wants to make a real impact, this is your moment to step forward.
The past few years have been big for our sport, and 2025 has only pushed things further. Participation continues to grow across every part of the game, our Home of Football at ServiceFM Stadium is now busier than ever, and clubs across the state are investing in facility upgrades through major state and federal programs. We have also seen strong momentum from South Australian teams and players on the national stage, adding even more excitement for what lies ahead.
Looking forward, the next few years will bring even more opportunity. Australia’s ongoing involvement in major international tournaments, including qualification pathways for the AFC and FIFA competitions, will continue to inspire young players. The expansion of national competitions and the increasing visibility of women’s football mean South Australia is well placed to keep developing talent and strengthening our local game.
We want to hear from coaches, parents, administrators, officials, volunteers, and supporters. Everyone involved in football has something valuable to contribute. Football SA is committed to openness, transparency, and genuine engagement, and these groups play an important role in guiding future decisions.
With the current terms for Zone Representatives and Advisory Group members coming to an end, nominations are now open for the following 2026–2028 positions:
- Zone Representatives – North, South, East, West
- Women’s Advisory Group
- Men’s Advisory Group
- Juniors’ Advisory Group
- Referees’ Advisory Group
- Amateur’s Advisory Group
- FUTSAL Advisory Group
- Coaches’ Advisory Group

All nominees must agree to comply with the Football SA Rules and Regulations, which include the Constitution, By-Laws, and all policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and guidelines that may be developed by Football SA.
