Football South Australia is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Female Football Week Awards, celebrating the outstanding contributions of women and girls across the game.
Female Football Week provides an important opportunity to recognise and celebrate the impact women have across all areas of football in South Australia, including players, coaches, referees, volunteers, and community leaders.
Clubs, teammates, family members, and members of the football community are encouraged to nominate individuals who demonstrate leadership, dedication and a strong commitment to the values of the game.
The awards recognise individuals who contribute positively to their club and community while promoting inclusion, teamwork, respect, and fair play.
Award Categories
Nominations are open for the following categories:
- Female Player of the Year
- Female Coach of the Year
- Female Referee of the Year
- Female Volunteer of the Year
- Community Champion of the Year (Any Gender)
Each category winner will receive a commemorative plaque and will be recognised as Football South Australia’s representative for the National Female Football Week Awards.
Anyone from the football community is welcome to submit a nomination.
