Football SA can confirm the inclusion of Para Hills East SC & Sturt Marion Thunder SC in the HPG Homes State League 2 competition from the commencement of the 2027 season. The announcement is made following approval from the Football SA Board this week.
Football SA received very comprehensive documentation supporting the applications from both clubs seeking to join the north south conference system. This season has seen the inclusion of Angle Vale SC, Barossa United, Elizabeth Downs and Plympton Bulldogs, with each Club already establishing themselves in the competition early in the Season.
Expansion has provided an opportunity for aspiring clubs to enter the state’s semi professional environment and strengthen their club’s junior development pathways. With Para Hills East SC & Sturt Marion Thunder SC now confirmed, two positions remain available to complete the conference system. Expression of interest from Clubs seeking to enter the HPG Homes State League 2 competition in 2027 must be received by 30 June 2026.

NOTE: Expressions of interest from clubs seeking entry into the HPG Homes State League 2 Competition in 2027 must be submitted to Football SA by 30 June 2026.
