TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
We’re looking for a passionate Technical Director to help shape the next chapter at Port Pirates.
We are seeking a Technical Director/s to support the development of our players and coaches across our club groups:
- MINIROOS | U6–U11
- GIRLS | MINIROOS & JUNIORS
- JUNIORS | U12+
The role can cover all areas of the club or be focused on one specific area, depending on the successful applicant’s experience, availability and interests.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Technical Director will play an important role in supporting our coaches and creating a consistent, positive environment across the club.
Key responsibilities include:
· Supporting our coaches throughout the season
· Providing coaches with guidance, ideas and session support
· Helping coaches develop their knowledge and coaching skills
· Supporting player development and progression
· Helping identify areas where players and teams can improve
· Attending training sessions and providing feedback
· Working with coordinators to support the overall program
· Helping create a pathway for players from Miniroos through to Juniors
· Encouraging a positive and enjoyable environment
PAID / HONORARIUM POSITION
This is a paid position, with an honorarium offered to the successful applicant.
The honorarium will be discussed based on the scope of the role, experience, qualifications and availability of the successful applicant.
