Over 2,500 sporting teams across SA take a stand against negative sideline behaviours
Football South Australia is proud to partner with Sammy D Foundation for the Sammy D Violence Prevention Round – 27 to 29 June and we can’t wait to see our clubs and their juniors get behind it.
By wearing blue armbands, we’re showing our support for the Sammy D Foundation and sending a clear message that violence has no place in our clubs, our communities, or our lives. Every coach, every supporter has a role to play in creating safer spaces for our mates, our kids, and the next generation coming through our clubs.
If you or your children are involved, remember to share your photos and stories from the round. Tag @sammydfoundation and use the hashtag #VPround so we can help spread the message far and wide, and show how powerful sport can be when we come together for a cause.
You can find out more about the Sammy D Foundation here.
The Violence Prevention Round is a key part of the Sammy D Foundation’s mission to challenge attitudes, change behaviours, and show that violence and negative behaviour are never the answer.
