On Tuesday, 30 July, Football SA released a statement advising of the seven (7) Clubs which had submitted an expression of interest (EOI) for entry into the Senior Men’s Competition for 2025.
Since the close of the EOI period, Football SA has continued to receive informal interest from Clubs and one (1) formal submission from the Elizabeth Downs Soccer Club.
As a result, the Board of Directors yesterday determined to re-open the EOI period for an additional two (2) weeks. The EOI will close on Friday, 16 August 2024.
Football SA confirms the receipt of eight (8) expressions of interest to date. The nominating clubs are as follows:
Football SA will commence a comprehensive evaluation of the submissions receivedand any new submissions it receives within the two (2) week period and advise of any additional submissions received during this extended EOI period.
