Football Australia will conduct a Workshop on Talent Identification on Tuesday 19 April.
We have developed a web-based form to collect assessments on players in matches held during National Team Camp. The web form includes descriptors of player behaviour, showing what we are looking for to help guide you, but also a simple scoring system that will allow you to rate the performances of players you identify in a way that allows comparison.
These assessments will be used to help generate a large data set in Football Australia’s Talent Identification database. They will complement the data collected through video analysis, GPS and OPTA data, enabling us to provide deep analysis of the player performances.
We will be live-streaming the Junior Matilda's 'Green v Gold' match on 25 April and we invite you to be part of our Talent Identification process.
Key information will be shared through Member Federation networks and Coach Education for you to apply the workshop learnings during the match.
