Football SA would like to congratulate Match Official Thomas Temby on reaching 100 NPL Matches as an Assistant Referee this weekend in Round 10 of the RAA National Premier League. Temby will celebrate this milestone when Modbury Jets take on Adelaide Croatia Raiders at Croatian Sports Centre.
When reflecting on his milestone Thomas stated,
“Being trusted on 100 NPL matches as an assistant referee is an incredible achievement that I will always be proud of. I am looking forward to officiating the milestone match with two of my closest friends and excited to see where the future of football takes me.”

Temby made his Senior debut in 2018 on the FFA Cup match between Adelaide Croatia Raiders and Adelaide Blue Eagles. Since then, he has become a regular Match Official within the NPLSA space and has had several achievements during his senior officiating career including:
- 2018 NPL AR Debut Round 12 (West Adelaide v Adelaide Olympic)
- 2021 WNPL Grand Final (Salisbury Inter v West Adelaide)
- 2022 State League Two Grand Final (Vipers FC v Western Strikers)
- 2023 State League One Grand Final (Adelaide Croatia Raiders v Para Hills Knights)
- Represented Football SA at the Girls National Youth Championships 2023
General Manager of Referee Education/Training Michelle Smith had this to say,
“This is an outstanding accomplishment for Thomas at his age. His dedication to his role as an Assistant Referee is evident, and he is establishing himself as a top-class Match Official. Thomas has a very bright career ahead, and we celebrate his milestone of officiating 100 matches.”
