The countdown is officially on! We’re just 72 days away from the start of the RAA NPLSA Season and 86 days from the much-anticipated launch of the Apex Steel WNPL.
Round 1 kicks off with a blockbuster, Campbelltown City will take on MetroStars under the Friday night lights in a Grand Final rematch. This showdown is one you won’t want to miss!
The action heats up on Saturday afternoon, starting at Regency Park from 2:30 PM, where newly promoted Playford meets Croydon FC. At 3:00 PM, Para Hills Knights will battle returning RAANPL side WT Birkalla, while Modbury Jets host Adelaide Comets at Smith Partners Stadium.
As the sun sets, all eyes will turn to the Croatian Sports Centre, where Adelaide United’s rising stars face off against the formidable Adelaide Croatia Raiders at 6:00 PM.
Sunday’s marquee matchup brings Round 1 to a close, with 1Solution Park playing host to an enticing clash between FK Beograd and Adelaide City.
Apex Steel WNPL Launches March 7
The newly named Apex Steel WNPL kicks off with an electrifying lineup of four Friday night fixtures, setting the stage for an exciting season!
The action begins at ServiceFM Stadium, where Adelaide University takes on Adelaide City in a thrilling opener. Following shortly after, fans will witness the highly anticipated Grand Final rematch between defending champions Salisbury Inter and premiers West Adelaide.
Campbelltown City, newly promoted to the Apex Steel WNPL, start their journey at home against Metro United at 6:30 PM, while Adelaide Comets face Flinders United at the newly named LJ Hooker-Mile End Sports Park (Ellis Park), completing Friday's fixtures.
The round concludes on Sunday afternoon, with Birks taking on Football SA at Jack Smith Park from 5:30pm.
Saturday night action dominates State League One, with three of six matches kicking off at 7:00 PM
Adelaide Olympic faces an immediate challenge against Adelaide Blue Eagles. Promoted side Cove FC meets Sturt Lions in a highly anticipated clash. Pontian Eagles host Fulham United in an electrifying showdown. Elsewhere, Adelaide Cobras welcomes South Adelaide for a competitive Round 1 fixture.
State League Two Excitement
The restructured State League Two promises thrills with five new teams joining the competition. Elizabeth Grove starts their campaign with a tough trip to Port Pirie. Ghan United and Salisbury Inter go head-to-head in their first-ever State League clash. Down south, Titans debut in Noarlunga, marking the start of an exciting journey.
The Apex Steel Women’s State League is back this February
The headline fixture sees last year’s second and third-place teams go head-to-head as Elizabeth Grove hosts Modbury Vista at Mofflin Reserve.
