Football South Australia is deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Unley Old Scholars FC player, Emlyn Lewis.
Emlyn lit up the Collegiate Soccer League on a weekly basis, playing with vigour and always with a smile on his face.

It is with a heavy heart that we are coming to terms with the loss of a fellow Ranger. He fought a short but valiant effort against a silent enemy and truly a man taken far too early. On behalf of the Unley Old Scholars Football Club our hearts go out to Xuan, Harry, Bryn and the rest of the family and friends who loved him so dearly.
Emlyn most recently captained the reserves to a grand final last year. He was the kind of captain who spoke only when necessary and when he did, all listened. He was a gentleman, a competitor, a mentor, a club man, a teammate and a friend. I will miss his arrival before games, dressed up smart, big smile, positive attitude and willingness for a chat, as I'm sure will everyone at the club.
He will always be remembered fondly, never forgotten, and has had a profound and lasting effect on all who crossed paths with him. Forever a Ranger, Emmo, mate, may you rest in peace.
Ali Gramazio
President UOSFC
