About the Role
The Coach Development and State Futsal Lead will oversee a broad range of operational, development, and leadership responsibilities including:
- Delivery of Football Australia aligned coach education courses and workshops
- Coordination of up to five C Licence courses annually
- Leadership of the Football SA State Futsal Program including trials, team selection, coach support, and national tournament attendance
- Planning and delivery of Futsal Development Centres
- Delivery of the Football SA State Futsal Championships
- Stakeholder engagement with clubs, coaches, Football Australia, and the wider football community
This is a hands-on role that includes regular evening and weekend work, as well as travel within South Australia and interstate.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in football or futsal program delivery, coaching, or development
- Strong understanding of coach education and player development pathways
- Excellent organisation and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams
- A passion for futsal and football development
The following are desirable:
- AFC B Diploma (or willingness to obtain)
- Football Australia Foundation of Futsal qualification
- Experience in high performance or youth development environments
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in sport, coaching, or development
Applicants must hold:
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence
- SIA Safeguarding Children & Young People Induction certification
