On Monday 10 February, Football SA held it's first YCC Technical Director Workshop.
YCC Technical Director workshops are designed to support the people that help create and bring to life a vision and philosophy at their club to help guide youth development. FSA are delivering three workshops for TD’s in 2025 and will also offer club visits to continue their support.
In collaboration between FSA, Adelaide United and PSV, there will be a group of Technical Directors and Coaches recognised and awarded at the end of 2025 with a visit to the well-respected PSV Academy in Eindhoven.
Football SA General Manager Football Development, Mike Cooper, shared:
"The role of a club technical director is very important to the growth of the game here in South Australia. We want to help clubs, coaches, and players through this group of people, and we thank them for taking on this great responsibility".
Marie Spagnoletti, Football SA Junior Football Manager, commented:
"It was wonderful to witness a group of individuals coming together and embracing the Youth Club Championship. The Technical Director, along with the coaches, play pivotal roles as leaders within the club, capable of making a real difference. By working together, they will create a positive impact on game day for everyone involved".
