YCC Youth Club Championship Grand Finals

Grand Finals Bring Down the Curtain on an Incredible Nova Youth Club Championship Season

Big crowds, high drama, and plenty of passion marked the Nova Youth Club Championship Grand Finals, with the U16 Boys and Girls kicking off a huge weekend of football.

Tight contests and thrilling finishes were the story of the weekend, with several matches decided on penalties, including a remarkable 15 - 14 shootout in the Nova U13 Girls YPL A between Metro United and Adelaide Jaguars. The intensity across all divisions reinforced the success of the “like v like” competition model.

Each Grand Final was played in great spirit, with players showing respect and sportsmanship throughout.

The event also gave young referees the chance to gain experience under guidance from experienced referee coaches, highlighting Football SA’s focus on development across all levels.

Crowds, goals, and emotion filled every match, and off the field, the football community raised over $3,000 for Variety SA.
